Have you been dying to fix you MSN Messenger from the terrible 2011+ version back to the good old 2009 one?
If so, then this is for you!
Here are my steps to fixing your msn: (Specifically on windows 7 but should work for any system)
1) Uninstall ALL components of the cruddy new msn.
2) Restart your computer :)
3) To find out if your computer is running 32-bit or 64-bit Windows, do the following:

Open System by clicking the Start button 
, clicking Control Panel.
clicking System and Maintenance,
and then clicking System.

Under System, you can view the system type.
4) Install win rar (for whichever kind of computer you have: 32 or 64 bit) <<Click here>>
5) Go to this site and wait for the timer to download and SAVE the file. <<Click here>>
6) When done loading, open the saved file from the downloads folder on your computer.
7) Select the file that says "Messenger" and open it.
8) Highlight ALL files EXCEPT for the ".." file and press CTRL+C on your keyboard.
9) Go to your start menu and press Computer> OS C: (or whichever your C drive is)
Program Files (x86) > Windows Live > Messenger
10) Click in ANY blank part of this folder and press CTRL + V on your keyboard OR Right click the blank space in this folder and press Paste. (If the paste is not highlighted as an option you can choose or this doesn't work, go back to step 8 and return here to paste).
11) Press "Remove and Replace" for each (Or whatever overwrites EVERY file)
for each of the files. If your layout is like mine, choose the "Do this for the next (# here, mine says 51) conflicts. If not, there are quite a few so be patient.
12) OPEN YOUR MSN AND HAPPY DANCE!
